Junior League of Pasadena
The Junior League of Pasadena was founded in 1926 with the goal of empowering women to break barriers in order to build their futures and strengthen their communities. The League’s mission is to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women, and improve communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. The 501(c)(3) nonprofit has over 120 dynamic, accomplished active members and over 400 sustainers, all of them renowned community leaders in non-profits, civic organizations and businesses. They share their news with 725 Twitter followers, 1000 Instagram followers and 750 Facebook fans. By cultivating a diverse network of community advocates, Leadership Pasadena helps high potential, service-driven business professionals and military veterans to adapt their skills and experiences to roles as leaders in non-profit, civic, government and service organizations.
